Be clear about the condition
Describe cosmetic damage, accident damage, mechanical or electrical faults, missing parts and modifications as accurately as you can. Honest information at the valuation stage helps avoid surprises later.
Does the motorbike need to start and ride?
No. The valuation form asks whether the motorcycle starts and rides, so a damaged or non-running bike can still be submitted. If you know why it does not run, include that information; if you do not know, simply say so.
Photos are particularly useful for damaged bikes
Upload clear photographs of the whole motorcycle and close-ups of damaged areas. Images of the clocks, tyres, fairings, tank, frame and any missing or broken parts can help our buyer assess the condition more accurately.
What about insurance-category or previously repaired bikes?
If the motorcycle has an insurance history, has been repaired after damage or has replacement panels or parts, include those details in the faults or condition information so they can be considered during the valuation.
