NO CURRENT MOT
Can I sell a motorbike without an MOT?
A motorcycle without a current MOT can still be submitted for a valuation. The important thing is to describe its condition and roadworthiness accurately rather than presenting it as ready to ride when it is not.
Tell us the bike's real condition
If the motorcycle has been stored, has known faults or cannot be ridden, include those details. Whether the bike starts and rides is already part of our valuation information.
Why might a bike have no MOT?
Some bikes simply have an expired MOT after being unused, while others need repairs before they would be ready for the road. Explain the circumstances if you know them.
Photos and service history still help
Even without a current MOT, clear photos, mileage, service history, keys, V5C status and details of faults all help our buyer understand the motorcycle.
Collection can avoid the need to ride it
If an offer is made and accepted, collection can be arranged with you. That can be useful for motorcycles that are not currently suitable to ride to a buyer.
The valuation remains no obligation
Submitting the details is free and you can review an offer before deciding whether you want to proceed.
